a 23-hour MP3 CD with 25 topics relating to the daily life of a Sikh with answers from Guru Granth Sahib—as the founding gurus had envisioned a Sikh to be.
The CD, called Sikh Di Pachhaan, is a gift to the worldwide Sikh community.
The CD has answers from Gurbani on topics such as Kesh, Amrit, Alcohol, Sikh family life & family values and 20 other topics.
It is compiled from Kirtan and Viakhia from Professor Darshan Singh Ji, former Jathedar of Akal Takhat, who has a knack for describing complex Gurbani in such simple day-to-day life examples, that an average person can understand it too.
This is a tribute to my late father, Capt. Baboo Singh Ji (S.P. retired), who used to say: ‘Son, grow up to be someone who makes a difference in other people’s lives, for the better.’ Now that I head this charity I can fulfill his expectations of me, and my eventual goal is to do this for other religions too, with the vision to bring about Love and Harmony amongst us all, because all religions teach their followers to become good people and to do good to others. Once we realize that, then we will love and respect each other, and that is our goal at Interfaith Charities Int’l,” said its president Bir Ishwar Singh Grewall.
So far 50,000 CDs have been distributed or will be distributed by the end of next week, said Interfaith Charities Int’l, president Bir Ishwar Singh Grewall. This CD answers all the questions that every Sikh has but cannot get answers for, in such simple, easy-to-understand language. It covers such topics as: ‘If we can cut our nails, why not our hair?’ etc. and 24 other mesmerizing topics.
Listening to these tapes by Singh Sahib changed my life, said Bir, so we decided to put these 25 selected topics on an MP3 CD which can be played on the latest DVD, VCD in audio, or MP3 player, or on computers, and every Sikh is encouraged to listen and make copies and pass it on to other Sikhs. The objective is to revive the feelings of Sikhism, which is why the CDs are being distributed FREE.

Actually raunaqsingh83, Prof Darshan Ragi who was recently excommunicated by 5 Singh Sahibans, has not always been against the bani of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and only recently has been. You can listen to him reciting Kirtan from Guru Gobind Singh Ji's bani here http://patshahi10.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=320:darshan-singh-ragi-performs-keertan-of-sri-dasam-granth&catid=39:keertan&Itemid=141
In this very album in Track 18 he mentions both the Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the Sri Dasam Granth and does not condemn either and infact does Kirtan of the shabad 'Raam Raheem Puran Quran' which IS IN Guru Gobind Singh Ji's bani. You mention Tva Prasad Svaiye whis is in fact from Guru Gobind Singh Ji's bani (Sri Dasam Granth).
This is not an issue of doing Prakash in any Gurdwara of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's bani and that was not the issue the heretic Professor raised when he was excommunicated.
You already stated yourself the reason why Guru Gobind Singh Ji's bani isn't in the Guru Granth Sahib but separate so there is no issue. Prof Darshan Raagi spoke out against the bani which many great Sikhs like even Giani Sant Singh Maskeen believed in.
Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!
i m from India.....
As per i had read the review of "user name (Ikonkar1)". I m shocked in every relegion there are many types of granth. In sikh relegion there is Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Jugo Jug Atal. The only live Guru on this planet.I m not saying in sikhism. Its true that Prof. Darshan Singh Ji is a very good preacher on this planet.Every one use diffrent types of books to make people understand the true meaning of Granth. Same Prof. has done . He took help of Dasam Granth to make understand not only sikh but other relegion people also that the word "RAM" which is used in Guru Granth Sahib is not the King of Ayodhya Ram. He is lord, waheguru, God... He had several names. Now the point is that why he's against Dasam Granth whereas he give most of the time example from dasam Granth. What ever he's doing is correct. WHY ??? Tell me WHY??? only in Hazur Sahib or Patna Sahib We do Prakash of Dasam Granth And take Hukam Nama from it . Why we place Dasam Granth at same level we place Guru Granth Sahib. If Guru Gobind Sing Ji want to put his banis in Guru Granth Sahib he can do withou fear. Why Guru havn't done that. There is some reason.? He wrote Dasam Grant as Autobiography-CUM- Akaal Ustat. Akaal Ustat means to sing appretiation of waheguru in diffrent way and words. If u read Twai Prasad Sawaiye-10 u will came to know he making people undersatand that some relegion worship statue some worship grave but no one is able to get waheguru. Prof Darshan Singh Ji is against from the very time he was jathedaar of Akaal Takhat. Hope u understand my feelings. There's only one god and one LIVE Guru Granth Sahib in Sikh Relegion. No other one can take place or compare to it. If u want to male me personally u can send . My Email : firstname.lastname@example.org
